Classic Renovation Project
The Pier in the seaside town of Cleethorpes, North East Lincolnshire, originally opened in 1873 since then it has undergone various renovations over the years but none as big as the renovation completed in 2015 after a 2 year transformation costing over 4.7 million.
A look at the Pier before we began >
Our team were commissioned to manufacture and install custom glazed walkways with a Victorian feel, these walkways would be a feature outside each of the bars, restaurants and shops.
We worked closely with the designers, architects and other contractors, using a combination of cast materials and the latest techniques, the walkways were constructed. To finish off the project we hand painted it with specialist marine paints to prevent the sea salt from rusting the steel.
